Dr. George Mathew serves as a regional clinical expert and healthcare thought leader for HPES’ multi-billion dollar healthcare vertical supporting strategy development and assisting in achieving growth objectives through collaboration with Enterprise Services account, sales, delivery, practice, and marketing teams. He alse serves as a Consumer Task Force Member
for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology which makes recommendations and provides insight on ONC/HHS projects/initiatives with a consumer focus to ensure the person remains at the center, engaging the experience and feedback of both patients and providers. Prior to HP, Dr. Mathew was a medical director in ActiveHealth Management, an Aetna company, leading the Quality Measures and Analytics team. Dr. Mathew is a graduate of Boston University’s Accelerated Medical Program, and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business/Health Sector Management program. He completed his Internal Medicine residency through Yale University, and has worked in various positions for companies such as General Electric, Goldman Sachs, and Pfizer. He currently is an assistant professor at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American College of Medical Quality and Certified in Medical Quality by the ABMQ. He also serves as a Physician Panelist at Doximity, a physician social network, a Board Advisor for CarePredict, a medical device start-up on elderly remote monitoring, and contributes to local health IT startups.
