One of the hardest things to do in healthcare is to imagine changing the system and then doing it – but it is the essence of what we all do.  Chris Parks founded Change Healthcare in 2007 to bring price transparency to healthcare, initially in radiology, but he had a much bigger plan. Now the company employs over 5,000 people and is among the largest providers of  products, services , innovations, and experiences to payers, providers, pharmacies and consumers.  They have built the single largest financial and administrative healthcare network in the United States, reaching approximately 750,000 physicians, 105,000 dentists, 60,000 pharmacies, 5,000 hospitals, 600 vendors, 450 laboratories and 1,200 government and commercial payers. Not your grandfather’s healthcare network, Change Healthcare has connected virtually all private and government payers, claim-submitting providers and pharmacies in a hybrid cloud-based, user-centric and secure infrastructure environment.

Chris Parks has indeed Changed Healthcare and gone from startup to “livin’ the dream” of having done so.  In this Momentum talk he will tell us how he did it and what is coming next!
